BISHNA is a nonprofit founded in 2012 by Caroline Kobin, LMSW. BISHNA serves to assist people with developmental disabilities pay for professional services; marketing, advertising, web design, construction, legal and accounting so they are able to start and be sucessful in maintaining an independent business.

BISHNA provides an assessment of individualized business support needs, devises a plan to find a budget, and assists customers in paying for costs.

BISHNA devises a targeted audience and has networking events that allow for an individual to promote their idea, and their business.

BISHNA's networking events include other local businesses who donate part or all of their own product to BISHNA.
